Been here 3 times, never encountered employees unless checking out. 1st time there I picked up my order (ordered on line) got to my car and noticed a bottle missing, went back in and told them. They said they had to look at security footage, guess they didn't trust me. 3rd time ordered a Yeti online got there and noticed it was Oak Aged, they told me," I must of ordered wrong", Showed them my order form and then told me sorry must be a mistake, then tell me " if it was out of stock it should of not let you order", No kidding? She then tells me don't order on line just come in...Im 54 miles away! so safe to say I probably won't go again.

well here is a review of a total wine. atmosphere it's just a huge warehouse with a lot of wine and an isle and cooler of beer. there really isnt much atmosphere unless you count the sterile feeling. the quality is good with most of the beers fresh and well taken care of. i have never actually encountered an employee in this store aside from the people checking me out, but im sure their nice. the selection is good. there are tons of beers here. you arent going to find the rarest stuff youve ever seen, but there is good stuff here. it's also very reasonably priced.

So far I have been here twice and while this was the first store of its kind I have been to I wasn't blown away but I did find a good selection and decent overall prices. The singles were arranged by style and they had a small seasonal and special release section with various bombers,12oz bottles and a few 4 and 6 packs. The 6 packs were arranged by country and in alphabetical order so it wasn't too hard to find anything if you knew where to look. They also had a decent selection available in coolers as well and a small growler station with 4 or 5 taps. You can tell they are mainly set up for wine rather than beer but still had a large beer selection compared to most retail outlets.

As far as service goes well its hit or miss.Very few people asked if i needed help and the few that did didn't seem too knowledgeable about the beer other than the local breweries selections.

I usually visit this location at least once a week (sometimes more) to see if anything new has come in. It is safe to say that they probably have the best selection of beers here in Greenville as far as quantity. I just wish they were able to stock a lot more harder to find beers as well. Even though they do get quite a few limited releases in stock quite often. If you are looking for any of the local breweries (RJ Rockers & Thomas Creek) beer this is the place to go to pick it up. They offer just about all the breweries have to offer in either an individual or in the 6-pack variety.

This is very much like the Total Wine stores I have visited in the Atlanta area. Beer selection is very impressive - I found quite a few craft brews that I have yet to spot in Atlanta. Some of the bottles are a bit spendy, but I am sure they are worth it. I stocked up on quite a few and merrily brought them home. Their personnel are well-trained, friendly and helpful - one of them helped me retrieve my oh-so-important beer notebook when it got separated from me. I do recommend this place, so if ever you visit Greenville, they are right off of I-85 and quite easy to find.

Made the trip after dropping a friend off at GSP airport, and it was well worth it. A little hard to find, nestled in the back of a plaza.

The selection was pretty impressive (compared to South Florida and Clemson, SC), I picked up the following:
The Bruery Two Turtle Doves/Saison de Lente
Sweetwater Dank Tank
Ballast Point Big Eye IPA
Weyerbacher Insanity
Bell's Third Coast Old Ale

They have a good selection from the following breweries:
Sweetwater, Souther Tier, I think 3 different Bruery offerings, Weyerbacher, Founders, Bell's, and much more.

They were out of Rochefort 10's (which was a bummer) and I did not see Life & Limb or Depth Charge, but still worth the 2 hour commute from Clemson (traffic) and the hour I spent in the store.

The staff was predominantly wine guru's, and the "beer guy" had some good knowledge but didn't really know what was in stock or out. Friendly nonetheless.

Prices were fair, most singles range from $1.xx-$4, bombers were $5-$11. I paid $6 for Dank Tank and $10.xx for each Bruery bomber.

UPDATE: This Total Wine now fills growlers...I believe it was around $9. They had 90 Minute and 2 or 3 others.

Located in the very back of a large big box shoping area. Near World Market and DSW Shoes.

Nice selection of locals, all the Thomas Creeks and most of the Highlands. Good selection of Southern Tier. RJ Rockers from Spartanburg.

Most desirable feature is the large selection of singles available. Selection is larger than most TW's I've been too. Most are priced at 1.99 and six pack holders are readily available.

Combine this stop with the WF across Woodruff road for a nice 1-2 punch. Prices can be slightly better here than at other locations in town.

Stopped by here after finding Green's is closed on Sundays.

Quality is good. As with every other Total Wine I've been to the beer is in the back away from the light. I question the rotation of the beer as I picked up two from the Charleston Brewery, both of which are apparently retired on here, however they didn't taste terribly old.

Service was good. Friendly as always, though I didn't ask anything specific so I can't say whether or not he knew what he was talking about.

Selection is good. I found a few that I was especially happy with, including Smuttynose Really Old Brown Dog, though for the most part there was nothing out of the ordinary. I picked up Moylan's, Hoppin' Frog, and a bunch of singles that I've been curious about but didn't want to pull the trigger on an entire six pack (no singles in GA).

Value was good - I picked up a solid 12 beers including a few bombers for right around $40.

Overall this place follows the trend of TW - lots of stuff but don't expect anything really special.

NOTE: When reading older reviews for this store you will notice that people mention "when SC pops the cap on high ABV beers". Do not be alarmed, SC did this a while ago and this Total Wine sells a lot of high gravity brews.

Today was probably the twentieth time that I've been in this store, and I thought it finally time to review it. This store, like all stores in South Carolina that sell both liquor and wine/beer is divided into two "separate" stores because under SC law the same store cannot sell both liquor and wine/beer. Stupid, but no matter, because only go to the beer side anyway.

When you walk in head to your right toward the coolers and take a left. You're greeted with a pretty large isle full of craft beer, with six- and four-packs on the left side of the isle and single bottles on your right. The selection is pretty ridiculous, and you're guaranteed to find most anything you're looking for here except for the more rare seasonal releases. They have the most beer from American breweries, but there is also a very large selection of beer from Germany, Belgium, and England, along with the larger brands from most every beer producing country. (Their year-round beers can be found by following this link: http://www.wineaccess.com/file/store/totalwine/beer-totalwine-greenville.pdf )

The prices here are very reasonable, but you will pay a slight markup for single bottles. Unfortunately, you also cannot split the pre-packaged six- and four-packs up, which makes for a bit of an annoyance if they have what you want in a pack but not in a single.

As far as service goes the employees are a hit or miss when you ask them about beer, but they're still very friendly on all occasions that I have been here. Although I've only been to this Total Wine and the one in Charlotte, NC, I have to say that this one is superior in all regards. If you're in the area and they don't have what you need/want at Green's, give this place a try.

This is the other place to stop for beer in Greenville. As you walk in go straight across to the coolers and take a left. Down the isle you will have all your craft on the left and on the right will be where you can mix and match and buy by the bottle. If Green's is out of something check here it's a short drive and close to the interstate. Don't count on the staff to know about beer it's hit or miss. But they do have a good selection and you can walk out with several beers to try when you buy by the bottle.
