Visited March 08

I admit I only went to Total Wine because Green's did not have Hop Rod Rye in stock, and it was fairly close and easy to find.

The store is a Total Wine.. SC style with the split of course.

The beer is ok. Lots of typical stuff available in the state, nothing hard to come by and nothing that isn't generally available down the road. They did have Hop Rod and I was able to pick up a few bombers. As is the norm with Total Wine, singles were available, so I was able to pick up a couple bottles of beers that I like but don't' necessarily feel are worth the money for a six pack (ie, Old Horizontal). The pricing was pretty fair overall too.

Service wise... god I HATE their <22 policy. Either I'm 21 or I'm not 21, I shouldn't have to go through some bullshit declaration form. It is just as difficult for me to buy beer at Total Wine as it is to get a passport. Other than that, the staff didn't go out of their way to help, they are just there, which is pretty normal for stores.

This Total Wine was just like the others, except with the SC offerings which are not as good as those in neighboring states. I don't intend to return but would do so if necessary.

well here is a review of a total wine. atmosphere it's just a huge warehouse with a lot of wine and an isle and cooler of beer. there really isnt much atmosphere unless you count the sterile feeling. the quality is good with most of the beers fresh and well taken care of. i have never actually encountered an employee in this store aside from the people checking me out, but im sure their nice. the selection is good. there are tons of beers here. you arent going to find the rarest stuff youve ever seen, but there is good stuff here. it's also very reasonably priced.

The old stand by spot in town to pick up a few descent craft brews. Their growler fills are more than reasonably priced and their rotating selection of quality craft beers keeps me dropping by from time to time. Had an issue once with a growler that was only filled 2/3 of the way and the manager was quick to correct the mistake and apologized. Maybe not the friendliness and atmosphere of Community Tap, but by and far better than putting up with the fray boys at the Beer Exchange!

Been here 3 times, never encountered employees unless checking out. 1st time there I picked up my order (ordered on line) got to my car and noticed a bottle missing, went back in and told them. They said they had to look at security footage, guess they didn't trust me. 3rd time ordered a Yeti online got there and noticed it was Oak Aged, they told me," I must of ordered wrong", Showed them my order form and then told me sorry must be a mistake, then tell me " if it was out of stock it should of not let you order", No kidding? She then tells me don't order on line just come in...Im 54 miles away! so safe to say I probably won't go again.

Have made several visits here so I have finally decided to type up my review. This place is huge, a friggin warehouse full of alcohol. Like most it is divided up into the spirits side and the beer/wine side. Upon entering it is clearly obvious this is catered more towards wine then beer. Aisle upon aisle of wine. Walking past all this gets you to the the last two aisles which are beer. Very nice selection of six packs from most of the major brweries available in South Carolina due to 6% cap and distribution. Pretty much all the locals, Terrapin, Palmetto, Thomas Creek, No Duck Rabbit??, probably just out. Have the Sierra Nevadas, sam adams, sam smith's, etc. The real bread and butter about this is the singles rack, which is quite extensive. Pretty much everything in a six pack is here as a single, and warm too, which makes traveling much easier. Mixed six pacls are great. They have every Rogue available in SC, which is also a plus. Cold fridges are well stocked with singles as well as six packs. Import selection is also very nice in the german styles, no belgians, but that is deifficult under the cap here. Some things that I can only find there which shows they are seeking out. Seems to get a better selection each time I go. Service is non existent unless you want wine. I ried to order a case of Rogue, but they never called me back. Prices are pretty reasonable compared to some other local outlets. Overall decent place, a bit too commercial though and they should get in some knowledgable beer staff.

I usually visit this location at least once a week (sometimes more) to see if anything new has come in. It is safe to say that they probably have the best selection of beers here in Greenville as far as quantity. I just wish they were able to stock a lot more harder to find beers as well. Even though they do get quite a few limited releases in stock quite often. If you are looking for any of the local breweries (RJ Rockers & Thomas Creek) beer this is the place to go to pick it up. They offer just about all the breweries have to offer in either an individual or in the 6-pack variety.

Located in the very back of a large big box shoping area. Near World Market and DSW Shoes.

Nice selection of locals, all the Thomas Creeks and most of the Highlands. Good selection of Southern Tier. RJ Rockers from Spartanburg.

Most desirable feature is the large selection of singles available. Selection is larger than most TW's I've been too. Most are priced at 1.99 and six pack holders are readily available.

Combine this stop with the WF across Woodruff road for a nice 1-2 punch. Prices can be slightly better here than at other locations in town.

I visited here on 1-9-07. I was looking for Thomas Creek. Beer was on the right side of the store and they had several coolers and a nice shelf area for singles. Thomas Creek sixers in the cooler and they had singles on the shelf. I saw some Lambics and Belgians, but they must have been 6% or less, I didn't look at the labels. They still had a lot of Holiday and Seasonal beers for sale and on display. A lot of people were busy with wine but I was asked if I needed any help and if I found what I was looking for. As soon as SC Pops the Cap, the South will definitely be bringing game to the craft brewing scene. Va,NC,SC,Ga will all have beers available above 6%.
