Gave an inverted pour from a 16.9 oz bottle into a hefeweizen glass.
Nice hazy goldenrod color with a fluffy, foamy 2" head. Settles to about 1/4", leaves persistent spotty lacing.
Smells very "wheaty", lots of fresh ripe banana, a little bit of clove- less than a lot of other hefeweizens I've had. A little bit of a sugary tang I can't quite describe. Smells nice, fresh and inviting.
Tastes of lush wheat, a little lemon, then sweet creamy banana and a touch of bubblegum. It almost tastes like banana pudding. Still, it's not too sweet. Ends with more ripe banana/pudding and some soft wheatiness.
Pretty full bodied for a hef, but soft and smooth. Nicely carbonated, but could maybe stand a bit more. Ends fairly clean.
Overall a well made and pretty well balanced hefeweizen with a bit more going on than your standard malty bananas & clove. Sells for pretty cheap around here too. Not quite as good as Weihenstephaner or Live Oak, but stands out from most hefeweizen offerings.

Love hefe's in the warmer weather. Enjoyed the Tucher Krystal Weizen, and the Hefe is just as good.
A - Pale gold, moderate haze, huge, fluffy white head that lasts forever.
S - Complex mix of bread, toasty wheat malt and banana esters. Little clove or other phenolics. No hops.
T - Similar to aroma. Bready wheat malt with low but enough hop bitterness to support. Noticeable tartness adds to the refreshing quality. No hop flavor. Plenty of banana ester, little clove.
M - Medium-light body, high carbonation. Tartness dries out the finish.
O - One of my new favorites of this style. Would like a bit more clove, but really nice as is.

.5L pour into Weizen glass, JFK airport
A- Golden yellow, hazy. Some white highlight. White head doesn't retain.
S- Bananas, clove. A bit of booze, actually, and some yeast.
T- Wheaty, grainy. A bit of fruit and yeast. A tad spicy.
M- Carb is more apparent. Smooth and wet though.
O- Decent. I think the CO2 from the draft takes away from Weizens.
