Poured into a 22 oz pilsner glass.
Clear kristal yellow; almost a clear lemonade color with a nice rocky two inch head and thick lace.
Smell is not pronounced; smells fresh with just a hint of yeasty esters and noble hop.
Taste is very thin and watery but refreshingly crisp with a slight hop bite and a quick dry finish.
Drinkable like a good glass of water. I would seek this out on a extremely hot and humid day where you want to alternate between beer and hidration.

Pours clear, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is banana, clove, and bread crust. Light bodied, high carbonation, slightly sweet. Excellent. Not quite Weihenstephaner level but so crushable.

I recently picked up both the Tucher Dunkelweizen and this Kristallweizen. What can I say, I recently brewed a Dunkelweizen lately and I’m all about Weizens lately. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find many examples of the family of styles that I haven’t tried before, so I’m excited to dive into this one. Let’s go
Pours a clear yellow gold with 2 fingers of creamy off white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The nose here is vibrant yet light. I’m picking up on aromas of wheat bread, banana, lemon zest, honey, floral hops, light toffee, and a touch of vanilla
I’m really digging the sweetness of this one. It’s not overpowering but a nice compliment. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting wheat bread, vanilla, banana cream, wildflower honey, pear skin, and light floral hops. The swallow brings notes of banana cream, doughy malt, vanilla, lemon zest, earthy wheat, honey, and light floral hops
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a creamy beer with a bit of a bite. Finishes slightly sticky but not overbearing
Man, this one is underrated on here. It’s a great example of an uncommon style that I think I’ll have to revisit pretty often

It’s pretty much my favorite of all time. Smooth, crisp, perfect amount of wheat, awesome when super cold. Thank God for German beer! Wish I could find Kristall here.

From the bottle, it pours a clear golden color with a nice white head that diminishes after you add some lemon via a slice. Bread and banana in the nose. Taste is sharper to me than a hefeweizen, but the lemon slice makes it just right!

Poured from the can into a nonic pint glass.
Deep brass body color, with a touch of faint brown slightly, crystal clear, with excellent reams of linear carbonation as well. Head is egg foam big white, not a gusher out of the bottle, but a good controlled and forming head, with a foamy top that settles slower. Good looking brew!
Solid large banana estery aroma, mild phenols, but a strong banana flavor that dominates. Touches minimal malt aromas, almost a bit of toast hidding it seems also, and minimal sweetness. Pretty solid.
Palate seems no big surprise. Banana flavor forward, with a mid palate that seems a little light and crisp. Very good and surprising minerality, with a touch of dry parching quality on the finish as well. Light flavors of clove, but also a bit of gaseous almost seltzer hot finish strangely.
A pretty solid kristall, with classic estery flavor, comes out a bit drier and with less malt definition than I was hoping, but a solid all around brew.

A very nice surprise from this brewer...
I really enjoyed how this looked in the glass - an dark champagne colored brew with a head that pours out nice and thick and easy. The smell consisted of sweet barley with a mouthfeel that was oh so light on the tongue. The rest of it reminded me of most other Tucher brews I have had, not necessarily making itself distinct in any other way. A decent beer, one I would not hesitate to reach for again, but nothing overly 'special' either.

Brauerei Tucher Brau "Tucher Kristall Weizen"
16.9 fl. oz. brown glass bottle, coded "L002 13:24"
$2.59 @ ABC Fine Wine & Spirits #139, Wildwood, FL
Look: Clear golden body beneath a full head of bright white foam. Somewhat limited head retention and lacing for the style.
Smell: Grainy, bready, sweetish, wheaty malt, with some banana and just a touch of clove.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma with the yeasty phenolics somewhat restrained. A subtle spiciness helps to round it out.Nicely balanced with a stiff bitterness and mostly dry finish as the malt steadily erodes from the palate.
Feel: Medium-light in body and crisply effervescent.
Overall: A solidly made kristalweizen that's perfect for everyday consumption.
