I poured into a pint glass to an inch and a half of white head. It is clear and yellow. It smells sweet like an adjunct lager. The taste was sweet at first and is then followed by a horrible metallic taste. The initially taste is bearable, but that aftertaste is nasty. I probably won't be seeking this one out again.

Poured from a 33cl bottle into a pint glass. Had a best by date on the back label. Was a golden yellow color with bits floating around. Very slight carbonation and no lacing. The barely there fizzy white head quickly settled into nothing.

The aroma was standard lager biscuity malt and not much else. Bland. Taste followed the aroma lockstep. Bland. Mouthfeel was watery.

Overall, a really bad beer. Don't recommend. One and done for me. Only plus to this one was that I added Greece to my countries reviewed list.

Light gold, medium white head. Smell is light sweet malt, some yeastiness, and nothing out of the ordinary for the style. Very light bitterness, with a finish of slight breadiness. Average pale lager that is drinkable but not impressive as expected...

A - Pours a fluffy white head of about half an inch. About the same color and carbonation as ginger ale, and the head's gone just as fast. No lacing. I mean, it really really looks like ginger ale, or some kind of soda.

S - Is that... paint thinner? With some notes of cough syrup. Yuck.

T - There's the typical lager flavor, but with an almost fake grape flavor or Robitussin. It's actually kind of hard to choke down at times.

M - Watery, with an odd boozy finish. Surprising, considering the relatively low ABV.

O - I've had worse, but not many.

My boyfriend got this beer for me because I ran my first marathon this fall. He's traveled in Greece, and said the beer there was terrible, so we weren't expecting this to be too good. I would say it lived up to expectations.

A-Yellowish.

S-Not too bad--a little pine.

T-Not too much taste, in general. This may not be fair, since I definitely prefer ales over lagers.

M-Fairly smooth, although rather watery.

D-Goes down easily but is not something I would keep drinking.

In all, glad we got the beer for the sentimental value, but would not get again.

This was a terribly standard lager with a flash in the pan bitter, almost earthy, dryness. Very high carbonation fought to hide all taste it seemed. For the carbonation I found it filling and for the taste I found it not too enjoyable.

Had this beer in a department store in Hiroshima, Japan, where it was part of a Greek goods for the Olympics special.

Pours a clear golden straw color with a thick and foamy white head with a surprisingly long retention. Nose is sweet bready malts and some stale grains—definitely not too inviting. Fairly light in body with a good amount of carbonation. Taste is lots of sweet malt up front followed by some biscuity notes. A sweet twang come across towards the end and then turns a bit metallic. There are many superior lagers than this to be had.

Poured bottle into pint glass.

Appearance: A bit of a pale gold color that was almost perfectly clear. Had a fairly nice 1-finger head.

Smell: Has a solid malt backbone in the smell that seems to have a bit of a spicy scent lingering in the background.

Taste: A spicy malt flavor with a mild hop kick to balance it out. It's smooth, but nothing terribly special.

Mouthfeel: The spiciness give it a bit of a tingle on the tongue. However, the rest of it is thin and watery.

Drinkability: Eh, it's okay, but not something I'm going to feel a strong need to get again.

Pours a clear medium golden color with a half-inch snow white head, slight carbonation, fairly good broken lace. Strong aroma of berries (yes, really) and candy sugar. The pungent sweet aroma is strong enough for a malternative-type beverage. Tasting yeilds mild pale malt flavors followed by sharp bitterness from the hops. In the wake of the bitterness an odd and lingering metallic flavor appears. A run-of-the-mill beer.

Pours a clear yellow color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of sweet malt, biscuit, and adjunct. Fits the style of an American Adjunct Lager. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt and adjunct, with a grainy finish. Overall, not anything worth trying.

Pours a two-fingered white head that quickly and leaves traces of lace. Clear, light amber color. Light-medium carbonation. Nose is faintly malty. Starts just on the sweet side, finishes light and crisp. Could be a good summer beer. $1.89 for a 330ml bottle.

Poured from a brown 11 oz. bottle. Has a rich golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some grains and malts. Taste is crisp, grains, corn, a bit of an off flavor in the after taste. Not horrible, but not to my liking. Feels light in the mouth and overall is about your standard, run of the mill AAL.

This beer is a very clear yellow-gold color. A completely white head almost reaches one finger and shows pretty good retention. When it does fall, it leaves some clinging to the edges. A little lacing manages to stick around in spots.
The smell is all grass, must , grains and leaf, some definite sulfuric notes. There's not a whole lot to say.
In the flavor, a little sweetness comes out with the grains, but otherwise it's just as leafy and grassy, and herbal over all of it.
Light-bodied and a little bit slick, there is a stiff crispness from front to middle in every sip, though it flattens a little into a dryer herbal finish.

The beer departs the 12-ounce brown bottle an auricomous color with the head tall and bright white in color, the texture spumescent, and the lace a thin but concealing sheet upon the glass. Nose is the archetypal lager malt, fresh and clean to the senses, start is sweet and the grain profile standard, the top is light in its feel to the plate, finish has a benign acidity, the hops adequate and the aftertaste dry as the desert sand, drinkable I guess, but nothing special.

Slightly better than its stablemate, Athenian, this beer is a bit bigger in appearance and drinkability. The mid-gold body is topped by a finger and a half of white head and this lasts longer than with Athenian. The flavor seems nearly the same with perhaps a bit more hopping to balance the malt and provide a bit more bitterness in the finish. Not a remarkable beer, but not bad either, it would get by in the right setting. Couldn't find at the Greek fest, but did find it at my remarkable local beer stop. They just keep getting better week by week.
