I had really wished that at a nice Greek restaurant, they'd have a more diverse selection of native beer, but hey.
A - It took a hard pour to yield a finger's worth of head, but it was gone in a blink. Pale as straw. A little bit of patchy lacing saves it from being totally fugly.
S - There's... no smell to even remark on. Nothing.
T - Typical lager flavor. Nothing special, and certainly not the worst I've had. Still better than Bud haha.
M - The carbonation is very excited for a beer with no head... almost prickly.
O - While I probably won't ever try this beer again, it was worth the junior college try. Not bad, but unremarkable.

Golden straw with vibrant thick white cloudy foaming head which leaves a mellow trickled lace down the glass. Aroma is arises as one full of european hops that produce the characteristic skunk tone with mild tones of sweetness from possible corn and malt based graiin. Very grainy in the flavor with the malt sweetness shining through more so than the skunked hops in this beer. A lighter bodied beer built for quenching thirst in a country known for it's wine and ouzo. I personally enjoyed this beer and when eating authentic Greek food this would go as a fine pairing to most dishes. I enjoy it and if on a Greek island could picture myself drinking my share of this malt based beverage.

This is a beer i never heard of before. Until my father brought one home from Greece. It pours a golden straw colour into the glass. The head is white and big, but disapperas quickly, leaving just a thin ring. It has a little sweet smell and also smell from hops and citrus. The taste is not bad, but it isn't good. It is a bit malty and sweet and no bitterness at all. A beer for hot summer days. But i wasn't impressed of it.

This beer pours a clear, very pale straw yellow colour, with two fingers of thin soapy white head, which leaves a narrow ring of lace around the glass as it quickly abates. It smells of sweet white grain, and skunky, wet hay hops. The taste is mild pale malt, a bit of mealy rice, and acrid, grassy, weedy, skunky hops. It's like it wants to be a hoppy Euro-pils, but fails on all accounts. The carbonation is moderate, the body medium weight, and somewhat cloying, and it finishes off-dry with the same combo of fading malt sweetness and cooked veggie bitterness.
Skunked? Maybe. Skanky? Sure. Eurotrash? Not fair, but oh yeah...

This is the 2nd Greek beer I've run into, and if its anything like the last, it should turn out to be a half decent lager. I don't have high hopes for this one, but I might be pleasantly surprised.
The beer pours a nice light amber colour. It's darker than I expected. The head is minimal, and it looks a lot like any other lager, though slightly better due to the colour in my eyes.
The aroma is slightly sweet and mildly grainy, with a tiny hint of grassy hops mixing with a slight skunky-ess.
The flavour is sweet and malty up front and this fades into a crisp and kind of dry finish. There is a hint of hops, but it's gone before it really registers.
Overall, this is an okay beer. I might get it for the novelty at a Greek place, but it's nothing special as an everyday beer.

Alfa Hellenic beer has a thick, white head and a clear golden appearance. Carbonation is medium to high, and a decent amount of lacing is present down the glass. The aroma is of fine barley, and a tad bit of hops can be picked up. Taste is again barley, with some hop back end. Mouth-feel is light to medium, and Alfa finishes refreshing, but not as dry as American lagers. Overall, I enjoyed this one and was glad it was not skunked (green bottle).

A: The beer is clear dark yellow in color (resembling apple juice) and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin off white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: There are moderately strong aromas of corn and apple juice in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is sweet with hints of bitterness. There are flavors of corn and notes of apple juice.
M: It feels light-bodied and a bit watery on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The sweetness and apple juice flavors can make this a bit difficult to drink for some people. Nevertheless, it has a good amount of aroma and flavors compared to other adjunct lagers.

33cl Green can, brought back from Crete to review at leasure. Being called Alfa, it is the first beer of an evening tasting lagers from around the world, Australia next!
Poured into one of my Duvel glasses, it looked a solid lager, golden yellow and clear, clean and neat looking. The large white head that arrived as I poured soon turned into a wispy covering, even with the Duvel glass trying to keep it going with the carbonisation bubbles rising up the centre of the beer.
Normal lager non-smell, gets my regular 3 for its nose.
Refreshing, dry and a pronounced metallic feel and taste. Tangy and sharp but more of a sunshine beer than a serious session lager.
Lacks the body and umph of a good Pilsner, a holiday beer, nothing more.

Golden brown. Nose grain slightly faded with a touch of yeast. The palate is dry with little flavor except a little bit of sugar in the body of distilled beer. Not really finish if not a little hot under bitter exciting. Euro lager unconvincing. Not really finish if not a little hot under bitter exciting. Euro lager unconvincing.

Poured a medium straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and sticky lacing.
The smell featured a grainy malt with some corn sweetness and the typical euro skunk.
The taste consisted of a suprisingly robust toasted grain, adjunct and balancing hop.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style.
Overall a better than average euro lager.
