Q: This is a nice clean store with a pretty good amount of beer options.

S: The employees were extremely friendly on the two occasions I visited the store. The only issue with the service for me was lack of employees. The 1 or 2 people that are in the store are behind the register so asking questions is rather difficult with such a large amount of floor space.

S: Of all the stores I have been to in the North Metro area (haven't been to Jax in Cumming yet), it has been by far the best selection. They had the entire North Coast line, a great selection of the DFH brews, all the standard selection of Belgians (Chimay and St Bernardus), Duck Rabbit, and many more micros.

If you live in the Alpharetta area, be sure to check this store out.

Stopped in after a not so friendly trip to Wal-Mart, so it in the strip mall and decided to stop in. A fairly typical large beverage warehouse, to be honest I wish we had some of these up here. I thought there would be more in the way of beer selection then there actually was, what they had was just a couple aisles compared to this huge store. Like others have mentioned one of the better selections of Eastern European brands I have ever seen. There were some here I have never heard of! Your typical American micros and regionals, along with an OK selection of Belgians. Overall not a bad store by any means, and there prices were more then respectable. Very nice to have it right by Wal-Mart though, if this were a setup close to my home, I don’t think you would ever get me out!

This is a new store conveniently located next to Wal-Mart at Windward Pkwy. Very large store with great selection. They do dedicate alot of the store to wine, for Paz is indeed a wine expert. While searching for beer, you will find they have tons of European beers as well as local craft brews. If they dont have something you need, you can ask and Paz will gladly order it if at all possible. The are pretty up-to-date with new arrivals of seasonals etc. Decent pricing, maybe a little on the expensive side, but all in all selection vs. pricing it is a good stop. Thanks Paz for all the help and courtesy from your store. It is a regular stop for me and will continue to be for years to come.

A newish building and cavernous. Sadly, only a fraction of the place is devoted to beer. But it is not without its merits.

Selection is above average. Lots of locals, US, micros, Germans and Belgians. Nothing too out of the ordinary from your decent area beer shops and damn near all of it is in the ample cooler space. Would be nice to have some more at room temp, especially the Belgians. One thing that does set their selection apart is their selection of Eastern European beers (Poland, Czech, Lithuania, Ukrane, Russia) that I have seen nowhere else in Atlanta. If that's your thing, they got more than a few to choose from.

Quality seems fine, evrything so far is within the Best By date if it has one. Owner was very nice and while not a beer expert seems to appreciate it and sees a need for a nice stock.

This is the best option I've seen in Alpharetta, stop by if in that neck of the woods.

This is a store that recently opened near my house, and it has become my new regular stop. Being brand new, everything is fresh, with no bottles of suspect age whatsoever. Another good thing is that it is a family owned store. Everyone here seems to care about the quality of the product, selection, and customer satisfaction. When I pick up the beer, they always seem to tell me what else they just got in. Paz also seems to order all the special releases (like Thomas Hooker Old Marley, Terrapin Monster series, Sam Adams Imperial Pilsner, etc.), and they arrive very soon after being released, and are typically stocked in enough numbers so as to not run out. I love to call Paz to see when a new beer is in, and go pick it up a after work.

While mostly everything is very good, I do think that there is some room for improvement. I think that the beer is allocated too little floor space compared to wine, with very few room temperature selections. There is also a lot of the cheaper East European selections, while some of the finer German or Belgian beers are missing. The U.S. micro selection is good, but a bit spottier than it should be (e.g., they have some Avery big beers but not others). If these areas are improved, I'd be bumping up the selection score even more. All in all, a very satisfying stop in the Northern Suburbs. There are certainly some beers here that I have never seen anywhere else (not even at Green's). If more love is given to beer, I’d recommend it without reservations.

If you are in the Alpharetta area, I recommend stopping by to check this place out. The store is always stocked full about 10-12 coolers of American micros, Belgians, and other imports. Lots of Polish, Czech, etc craft brews...

I talk to Paz when I am in there and ask for the "new beers" and usually get greeted to the latest from the top breweries who distribute to GA.

They carry a great selection of seasonals from Sweetwater, Red Brick, and Terrapin. Others spotted were Old Chub, full line of Stoudts, Brooklyn BC, Mackeson, Rogue, and Avery, Thomas Hooker (as of this review) seasonals were recently spotted. (Imperial Stout, Barleywine)

If you are in the area, check it out for great quality and prices. I love that this place is 2 miles from my house. :)
