Hazy gold, lacing white foam. Boozy honey, ripe cantaloupe and honeydew. Over ripened cantaloupe through and through.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.

Pours a very hazy orange color with a finger of sticky foam. Chunks of yeast are suspended throughout. Aroma has a sweet crystal malt smell to it, honestly it smells more sweet than hoppy.

First sip has a huge rush of bitterness. Makes my lip curl. This beer is not joking around. Just a huge bitter rush that lingers on the back of my tongue for over 60 seconds.

Well, this beer delivers exactly what is advertised. Insane rush of alpha acid bitterness. There is a lot of sweetness and body to this beer that is evidenced in the nose and mouthfeel, but this is a pure, unadulterated, hop bomb.

Not much hop flavor or aroma makes it through. This reminds me of Moylan's Hopsickle - I'd be interested to try them side by side. This is a very nice beer, but honestly it is hard to drink... Would have been better to split. But I love how it pushes the boundaries and unapologetically gives you a bitter overload.
