Appearance: 1 inch head, clear, gold in color, high carbonation,

Smell: orange, lemon, lots of fresh citrus

Taste: orange, lemon, lots of fresh citrus--slight earthy hops

Mouthfeel: sweet with light bitterness, light bodied with high carbonation

Overall: Very juicy and citrusy beer that is balanced well. One of the better offerings I have had from Captain Lawrence's small bottles. Wish I found a full six of this.

Pours very hazy yellow color with a ton of sediment chunks floating in it and bubbles racing up like champagne to a 2 finger foamy snow white head that faded on the slower side and left a ring on top around the edge and decent foamy lacing.

Smells of citrus hops and lemon zest front, followed by sweet malt, light yeast, biscuit, caramel, floral hops and mild spices; smells very summery and refreshing, and while pretty basic all of the different aromas are distinct and pleasant.

Tastes like it smells with citrus hops and lemon zest front, sweet malt, yeast, biscuit, caramel, grains, Ritz Cracker, floral hops and mild spices like coriander and pepper; very refreshing with a nice combo of hop fruityness and malt/grain balance. Label states a hoppy wheat beer and that’s what it tastes like.

Mouthfeel and body are light and crisp and almost thin, with low fizzy carbonation and a sweet hoppy lemon finish that is not really bitter, but more grainy and clean as it fades.

I’m going to have to get more of these next summer and down them while it’s hot out as this was a very tasty wheat beer and would be perfect for the summer.

A-Clear yellow, nicely carbonated, three finger light fluffy head.

S-Lemon, grass, wheat, nicely hopped.

T-Starts with lemon and grass, some spices. Ends with slight citrus and mild bitterness.

M-Lighter, some carbonation, tad bit watery.

O-A good easy drinking summer beer. The hops are present but still leaves room for the malt. Could use a tad more wheat.
