16oz pour at Prime 16, served in a standard pint glass
A - very dark brown in color, amber when held up to light. small creamy head which lingers around for quite a bit. adequate sticky lacing for most of the drink.
S - very strong, bitter, black French Roast. exactly how I like it. slightly charred malts and some faint earthy hops, dark chocolate.
T - take your standard Stout...slightly charred malt, chocolate, etc. then dump a healthy amount of espresso in it. this may not work for some people but i like how straightforward the coffee profile is.
M - medium bodies, quite creamy. carbonation is a little on the higher side but works well with the dominating coffee.
D - really enjoyed it as a dessert beer. excellent no-frills dark roasted coffee flavor with everything else as an afterthought. well done.

Poured a black body with minimal head and lace. The aroma is mild coffee/espresso with a tinge of roasted malts. The beer is medium-bodied with a mild espresso taste with touches of sweetness and almost lactic notes, along with some coffee malts on the slightly dry finish. Not a standout beer but pretty good and worth trying.
