A: Pours a clear very dark amber in color with some light amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall beige head that reduces to a thin film, a thick patch, and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light lacing is observed.
S: There are aromas of roasted malts with some light hints of chocolate and brown sugar.
T: The flavors start with toasted malts and some nuttiness. There is a light earthy flavor from the hops. This beer is well balanced and not overly sweet.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light smoothness.
O: Easy to drink and quite sessionable, this is a very enjoyable beer and one that I would enjoy having again. Nice complexity and balance.

A: When held up to the light, this beer appears clear very dark amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that gradually died down that gradually died down, leaving large wispy patterns of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: There are aromas of nutty and toasted malts in the nose; smells of chocolate also become noticeable as the beer warms up.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of chocolate, nutty and toasted malts in the nose.
M: It feels a bit shy of medium-bodied and slightly smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a flavorful brown ale that is easy to drink and would probably make a good accompaniment to a burger.

Ruby brown amber color with a small beige head. Gentle carbs.
Appearance is rather dull looking.
Aroma is pleasent with some roasted malts. There is also some sutle nuts too in the aroma.
There is a sweetness too.
The taste is involving with a hint of roasted malts and bready grains and... do I detect some smokiness.
An engaging beer and a beer with some character.
