No bottle date.
The smell of this beer was pretty light and not overpowering. I could pull out faint hints of citrusy hops but that's stretching it.
The appearance has an orange amber glow with a clarity that's hazy clear. The tall head maintains it's size for a long while before fading off and leaves a light lace around the glass.
This is quite an easy drinking beer. There is basically no bitterness in the taste and drinks smooth on the palate.
The taste itself is rather lean. The hops flavor is almost non existent and a sweet malt bill is only strong enough to balance the weak hops. I detect some low levels of diaceyl but is not an issue.
A rather bland and ordinary brew, probably better at the brewery pub.

Pours a lovely light orange/amber into my snifter. A prodigious light yellow/white head that leaves a light covering after a slow fade. Lot of lace and light carbonation visible through the mildly cloudy liquid. Nose has lots of bready light sweet malt, citrus and and orange grove. A touch of fusel alcohol sweetness. Light amounts of caramel too. Taste is bang on good. Malt front is quickly folded into a hop showcase that start with a touch of earth and blooms into a bright citrus cascade. Toasted grains give a nice counter to the plentiful hops. Some resiny oil in the clean but slightly long finish that mixes with a bit of light toast and caramel. Medium light crisp feel makes this a delightful thirst quencher with a mild tingly carbonation. A great summer slaker and glorious take on one the classic American styles. While on the strong side for seasoning it seems to fit the bill anyway and will be on my short list for grill day beers.
