Super freshie growler purchased at the mothership about 5 hours ago. Limited release, pilot batch brewed by the "CLBC brew crew"

Pours clouded dark apricot, moderate lite khaki head, leaves a nice looking film, a thin collar and low sheeting.

Ripe fruits nose with a hint of the beloved cat piss scent, no doubt provided by the citra and amarillo dry hopping.

Soft on the tongue and smooth flowing over the tongue, this offering is super fruity, well hopped and supremly easy drinking. Dangerous at almost 7 %....

More ripe fruits all over the palate, pineapple, mangos, limes all picked up, hops well rounded and drying late. Some light leather/smoke/lime in the finish adding greatly to the complexity.

Super enjoyable IPA...Yet another winner from the Captain...I'd vote for this one to go into full production....

On tap @ Captain Lawrence, then in a growler at the hotel.

Hazy yellow gold with a sturdy, creamy head. Deeply fruity aroma...apricot, pineapple, grapefruit, melon...a little malt sweetness. Just total fruit salad in the nose. Stone fruit, citrus oils, pineapple, tropical fruit sweetness. Tons of new-school hop flavor. Medium bodied and actually feels bigger than its reasonable ABV. Out of the few beers I had on my first trip to CL, this was the best. Better than the Imperial IPA, this is just bursting with ripe, fruity hoppiness. Good stuff!
