A profound love of hops and big brews led to our IPA. A little over the top it is a hophead’s dream come true. An Intense hop aroma and Malty body are followed by a smooth clean finish.

Generous amounts of Pacific Northwest malted barley along with some of the best hops from the fields of Yakima have come together to create an IPA that is very hoppy but very balanced with complex malt flavors.

Served Cool not ice cold so as not to subdue the hop aroma this is the beer that says don't mess with me I’m a BAD DOG.

Laughing Dog India Pale Ale has a very thick, off-white head, a mostly clear, golden appearance, with tiny white specs suspended throughout, a few lazy ascending bubbles, and fairly heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet malts and piney hops. Taste is of the same, with an overriding sugariness, and there is an underlying hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy and slick, and Laughing Dog India Pale Ale finishes semi-dry and easily drinkable. No alcohol shows up with this beer. I suggest checking this out.

This is a solid, traditional west coast IPA. Nothing special, but worth a try if you are in the area. Plenty of white head, resin and hop stank. I’m glad I tried this but not sure I would go out of my way to find more.

Nice mild IPA, hops not overdone. A little it of tang and bitterness in this amber bodied beer. Minimal soapy head, malt and hops blend well in the aroma, hops come forward in the taste. Bitter lingers on the tongue.

Super fast foamy head over this slightly hazy orange beer. For a fast foamer, it leaves a rather full lacing. Nose pops floral and sweet mango mostly, backed by crackery things as well. A touch of tart introduces a peppery, dandelion taste immediately with a decent bitterness lingering around in this pretty thin almost watery beer. Aftertaste is almost non-existent, save for a little brothy bitterness

Pours burnt orange, almost amber with a generous head... Maybe too generous.

Some is floral touch of grapefruit, and strangely Horsey.

Flavor is firewall with more citrus than is in the nose but a Brett Horsey favor lingers. Is this infected? If so it it's a great Brett IPA, if not it clearly missed the mark.

From a can, pours a hazy gold with a one-finger frothy off-white head. Aroma is a fulsome floral hops. Taste is absolutely hops forward with all bitterness you'd expect along with some grapefruit and herbal flavors. Some sweet caramelly malt at the end. Overall, lasting flavors (no wateriness here) with good carbonation; great combination.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange color with a big foamy white head that dissipated leaving nice messy lacing running here and there. The smell started off with a dry pine subjugated with an underscore of light dry citrus rind, somewhat bitter but sticky. The taste rounds out the bitterness of the pine with the dryness of the citrus. Its mainly sticky bitter with a light sweetness underneath and rolling into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs right where its supposed for an AIPA and allows itself to sit back letting the bitterness take the lead on the harshness of the tongue. Overall, its a nicely done AIPA that I could have again.

From the bottom of the can: "061716"

Appearance: Murky amber body with a massive head that takes up nearly half the glass. The head is white with a bumpy textured surface. Lots of visible carbonation

Aroma: I am getting a flowery scent along with an herbal aroma similar to bay leaf. I am also getting a catty ureic aroma but it is behind the other scents.

Taste: Both the flower and urea aromas come though here and linger into the aftertaste. There is a bit of a lime flavor in there too. While there is flavor to the beer none of the components complement each other.

Mouthfeel: Heavy carbonation with a harsh finish that is not attributable to bitterness. Moderate bitterness and a bit of a soapy textured finish.

Overall: Not a particularly pleasant beer to drink. It is just a mismatch of flavors and textures thrown together that don't satisfy the palate. It's not one I would really recommend or drink again.

Looks good, orange pour, 1" of white head. Aroma was a sweeter shade of grapefruit pithiness.

Taste dropped the c hops and some simcoe I think. Caramel and toffee, but not overpowering of the hops. Its hoppy, but not as much as the commercial handjob would cause one to believe.

Good above average ipa in a good format, nothing more.
