Brewed with only the finest Northwest malts and copious amounts of Columbus and Mt. Hood Hops. Our Imperial IPA is ahead of the pack.

Thanks goes out to JohnGalt1 for this brew.

Pours a very nice cloudy orange/yellow color, nice carbonation, nice one-finger plus off-white creamy head, with lots of nice sticky lacing to follow. The nose is hoppy, with some malts, citrus and pines. The taste is slightly sweet, hoppy, slight malts, very nice touch of citrus/pines. Medium body, a tasty/chewy/bitter brew. Very drinkable, I'm really enjoying this brew.

12 ounce can purchased in Sandpoint, ID.
Beautiful clear orange copper pour with two fingers of creamy off white/pale khaki head.
Nose bursts of diesel and resinous hops - dank and weedy, pine, and hiding in back caramel malt; weirdly intermittent hint of vanilla, and a touch of a floral aroma.
Initially there is a caramel malty sweetness on the palate but this is quickly obliterated by a resinous, sticky bitter blast at the back of the palate - grapefruit peel, pine needles and a leafy/weedy dankness. Softer tropical notes as warmed, but clearly the goal was bitterness and goal achieved!
Medium full mouthfeel with decent carbonation and a lasting sticky bitterness.
Honestly a holdover from the IBU wars of the past and I think it may be a divisive beer - I quite like it - but this is NOT the juicy sweet hazy DIPA often seen today.

Poured from a 12 oz can. Canned on 08/30/2022.
I feel Beer_Right_Back from Arizona hit the nail on the head, somewhat rough for a Imperial IPA.

Bitter, aggressive, and rough around the edges. This beer could be a real punch to the face for those sleeping on it. It's pretty one-dimensional, and straight to the point. We think that it runs closely parallel to Arrogant Bastard.

An IPA with a restrained bitterness. Pours a thick, fluffy head four fingers high. Mellow hoppiness lingers on the palate. No alcohol burn detected despite the 8.5% ABV. Nice sipper for a long evening.

This was poured into a snifter. The appearance was a hazy copper/orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light speckled lacing clinging slightly. The smell had some grapefruit/piney aromas here and there. The taste was similar. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but not overbearing. Overall, good DIPA, it’s nothing over the top but gets the DIPA fix done.
