A: Hazy light copper with some subtle peachy tones. Frothy white head that fades slowly and leaves light lacing down the glass.

S: Nice hoppy aroma. Sweet piney resin and fresh citrus. Light malt backbone with hints of bread and carmel.

T: Bready, bisquity malt. Some sweet carmel, and hints of the Rye come through. Big hop flavor, some pine and ruby red grapefruit that leaves a nice lingering bitterness.

M: Light to medium bodied, ample carbonation, appropriate for the style.

D: Although I don't get alot of Rye flavor from this one, it's still a nice flavorfull IPA. Big hop presence, with just enough malt to keep in from being unbalanced. I would definitely pick this one up again.

Fresh dated bomber.
Looks like a bud light. Smell is just meh I can't really pick up on anything specific. Could have fooled me labeling this as a rye, i really don't taste it at all. It's drinkable but doesn't stand out at all. Don't mean to hate on it just nothing special thats all.

The strongest point for me on this beer was the mouthfeel. This beer is large, round and smooth... creamy even.
The flavor has some good spice to it and is more hop-forward than your average rye beer.
The maltiness is there but the rye flavor itself- that acidic spiciness was not as apparent as I would have liked.
Amber/straw color, generally hazy.

Overall I can recommend this to someone who likes their IPAs on the malty side but I don't think its a great example of a Rye beer.

I disliked this beer.

Smelled like wet dog and hops, with a side of flowers. Just a mess.

The taste was the smell magnified by 10. I had to pour a 22 oz. bomber down the sink because i couldn't bear the taste of this one. Will never drink this again, and would question the judgement of anyone who likes this beer.

Poured from a 22oz bomber (brewed in October) into a 16oz wide-mouth Ball jar.

A - Pours a hazy, copper color with one finger of billowy white head and a smidge of effervescence. Labyrinthine lacing.

S - citrus, some pine, and just a hint of rye.

T - Tastes mostly of citrus with the subtleness of rye.

M - Medium body.

Drinkability - I really like this rye IPA. It is much smoother than typical IPAs and provides impetus to sample other representatives of the style.

As Immortale said, exactly.

My 22 oz bottle was a very interesting, not nasty, but NOT Rye IPA beer. It was fully sour and Brett fermented. Sorry, but it shouldn't even be rated in a serious way when in this condition.

IF you like a Brett beer, this would be quite a solid offering. Hard to believe when its condition must be fully accidental!

Poured from a 22 oz into stein. Cloudy & light in color. Rye dominant on the aroma. Taste - surprisingly strong malt in the front - dissipates quickly into a more conventional IPA bitter, but I was surprised at the malt. Excellent carbonation - just right.

Overall - a solid IPA, not top echelon, but very drinkable.
