Poured from a bottle into a snifter glass.
Look - good deep medium brown, a little murky, with about a finger's worth of light khaki-colored foam that dissipates quickly.
Smell - biscuity and malty. Maybe a little spicy.
Taste and Mouthfeel - very strong malty/chocolaty/caramel-like quality, along with a powerful bitterness in the middle and finish. Biscuity would also be an interesting touch to add. Texture is a little on the creamier side.
Overall - very interesting brew. A little too bitter for my liking in the end, but still a very intriguing and fascinating smell and taste.

Had on draft at Lures on 7/2/14 in a short wide mouth glass
A-Pours cloudy amber with a decent off white frothy head that lingers long and leaves excellent lacing.
S-Aroma is pine, grapefruit, sweet floral and citrus hoppiness.
T-Taste is heavy sweet, with grapefruit, honey, and pine with a light malt.
M-Average carbonation, medium body, slick texture and a long sticky finish with overtones of grapefruit and honey.
O-Overall a decent DIPA a great blend of hops and malt that hide the 10%.
