Hazy copper-red color with a well-formed beige head. Aromas of sweet caramel malt and toffee are dominant, backed by citrusy hops and fresh dough. The flavor is, again, dominated by malt with a hoppy backbone leading to a dry finish with some orange and grapefruit citrus flavors. Still, plenty of caramel malt that overshadows the hops. Lightly carbonated, with medium body. It conceals the alcohol well. Not the typical hop bomb.

Had on draft at Lures on 7/2/14 in a short wide mouth glass
A-Pours cloudy amber with a decent off white frothy head that lingers long and leaves excellent lacing.
S-Aroma is pine, grapefruit, sweet floral and citrus hoppiness.
T-Taste is heavy sweet, with grapefruit, honey, and pine with a light malt.
M-Average carbonation, medium body, slick texture and a long sticky finish with overtones of grapefruit and honey.
O-Overall a decent DIPA a great blend of hops and malt that hide the 10%.
