This heady, citrus forward IPA conjures a mighty mix of elements from hop bitterness to malt character to a big grapefruity finish. Collide your mouth with this mountainous beer while enjoying the thin air of an elevated party.

12 oz bottle from mix pack, 2 months from drink by date, guessing that makes it 4 months old, not ideal not terrible though.

A: Somewhere between an amber and yellow, "west coast" ipa in color. Pours a small white head, dissipated pretty quickly, with a some lacing but not very much.

S: Not overwhelming, citrus based hops, quite sweet in flavor, sour orange, not much maltiness, smells good though.

T: Hops right up front, initially an earthy/grassy/marijuana flavor of hops, then a very sweet citrus, more pineapple than grapefruit, not overly bitterr. For color has a nice malt backbone, wasnt expecting this, not overly dark but a nice molasses/rasin bread flavor.

M: A tad thin, decent to low carbonation, had a oily slick to it though, tasted more like a 6.5% than 7.2% (not necessarily good or bad, flavor wasnt overwhelming) One of the more session-able ipas.

O: Solid brew from Boulder, i recall it being much hoppier when fresher. Nothing crazy but its a good brew from a good value brewery. You defnitely get your moneys worth and wont be disappointing.

From a can with a new minimalist design. Clear orange color with an inch of fluffy beige head. Not much of a smell. Medium body. Nice balance of caramel malt and piney hop flavors. Classic IPA, I've had many with this flavor combination but not so much recently.

A - pale yellow with good clarity. Pillow of bone white head with nice cling after each sip

S -lemon grass, biscuits, muted hops.

T - clean and crisp feel caramel malts met with a hop back bone and smooth finish.

Solid brew that drinks more like a classic APA as it doesn’t have much hop presence throughout

Enjoyed while on vacation in Estes Park

I had this once, probably 12 years ago. It’s back in my area after a long hiatus, so it’s definitely due for a proper review
L: hazy orange body, persistent ivory head
S: pine resin, orange & grapefruit zest, bready caramel malt
T: old school IPA flavors that I love: pithy grapefruit & orange zest, bread crust, caramel malt, pineapple
F: medium body, ample carbonation, assertive bitterness
O: better than I remember it being…but it’s been a long time!

Poured from a can. Orangish in color, clear with a white head and lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, earthy hops and caramel. Taste follows the smell, flavors all come together pretty well. Good.

Slightly hazy orange with thin white head. Nose is muted with hints of candied orange. Taste is similar with candied orange up front with some grapefruit pith, very thin malt and ends with cirtus zest bitterness. Body is light to medium with medium carbonation. Nothing special IMO, not bad but easily forgettable.

I honestly thought this tasted pretty good, not mind blowing or the best but decently flavorful, I've only had this company's stuff since the rebrand but this is pretty good
