Poured from a 12-oz. bottle into my Terrapin pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a rich golden color with a slightly-less-than-one-finger white head. Moderate lacing; foam cascades nicely down the sides of the glass.
Smell: Floral hops and sweet malts. It's the kind of smell that tells you instantly that it's an IPA, even if you didn't already know it was.
Taste: Bitter hops envelop a core of malty sweetness. Hold the beer on the tip of your tongue, enjoy the malt; savor the hops as the beer trickles past your tongue towards your innards.
Mouthfeel: Not thick, not watery - middling, as IPAs tend to be. Which is just fine with me.
Drinkability: Yessir, I could easily drink a bunch of these. In fact, I might have to keep this around from now on, just for those times when I need a good session IPA (which is more often than you might think).
It's an IPA, people, and a good one at that. Wassail!
