A: The beer is relatively clear yellowish amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high dense off white head that died down but consistently left a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacy rings of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: There are moderately strong aromas of citrus hops in the nose along with notes of pine resin and pineapples.
T: The taste has flavors of citrus hops intermixed with some notes of pine resin hops. There is a moderate to strong amount of bitterness, which particularly stands out and lingers through the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very crisp on the palate with a moderate to high amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA delivers a nice punch of hops and bitterness but is well-balanced in that the hops are not overpowering. It also hides its alcohol very well, making it not too difficult to drink.

On nitro at Pat's Tap.

Served in a pint glass. Gold body with a cascading head of dense creamy soft foam that retains amazingly well and leaves plenty of lace.

Smell is hoppy citrus with some malty sweetness and fruit undertones.

Very tasty. Solid malt backbone to attempt to balance the hoppiness. Hops add citrus and pine flavors. The overall flavor is so drinkable and delicious.

Silky smooth and creamy feel from the nitro tap. Medium bodied.

Really, really liked this one. The nitro added a lot, but the flavor was very good as well. Nice brew.

Poured into a balloon glass. The beer is your typical slightly hazy off-orange color. A light cream colored head dissipates to some big bubbles in the center and a fine "mist." Pretty good sticky lacing, randomly. The aroma is a combo punch of grapefruit rind and fresh pine. The taste follows the smell -- lots of fresh pine and grapefruit rind up front. It finishes dry and clean, leaving a bitter reminder of how much of an IPA this is. The mouthfeel is dry and perhaps carbonated somewhat.

Overall, really impressed with this IPA. It's straight forward, pulling no punches: you get loads of citrus, pine, and hops. Quite good, and the 7.2% ABV is hardly noticeable.

This is probably the best $ value IPA on the market. It has the the hops content and lingering mouth feel we all want, but is not overpowering on the palate or the wallet.
appearance --> love that lacing!
smell --> makes me want to drink it fast
taste --> makes me want to drink it slow, and enjoy it
mouthfeel --> like beer should be... absolute pleasure
overall --> When I can find it, this IPA is in my fridge. There seems to be a supply issue.
