12oz bottle poured into a 12oz tumbler.

I'm sweatin' up a storm after cooking up some Old Rasputin beef stew, so I figured this would be appropriate.

Pours a very crisp light golden color with a nice creamy one finger white head that looks awesome, nice light streams of bubbles up the side. Nose is not so nice, it's got a bit of a chemical note to it, also some very faint hops.

Very fruity, very light, a bit of that clearning solution from the nose comes through as well. It's a good intro to craft beer, nothing to write home about. Theres a bit of a lemon that I'm starting to notice as well. Mouthfeel is nice and big with lots of carbonation.

It's a good hot day drinker but I wouldn't get it again.

A: hazy golden color with a 1 finger width quickly dissolving head.
S: has a deep wheat and yeast smell with sweat apricot sliding in.
T: little to much taste coming from the yeast making it a little over powering and hides the rest of the beer's character.
M/D: medium bodied and feels slightly harsh in the mouth. Drinkability is ok but not something I like to continue drinking.

Sweaty Betty pours out like a typical wheat beer with some haze but also seems a bit lighter in color. The aroma smells soft like wheat and some banana. The taste is on the light side, almost too light for a wheat beer in my opinion. The mouthfeel is very drinkable and easy going. I just wish this beer was a little bit more flavorful. It really doesn't have many bragging rights. There are better wheat beers out there than this one.

Pours a hazy grapefruit color with a decent (controlled) head and great lace.
Smell is MIA with just the faintest hints of citrus, malt amd banana.
Taste is betteer, with malt, grapefruit, banana and light hops. Hops fades to banana in the aftertaste and gets a bit cloying.
A medium bodied ale, OK to drink but I wouldn't recommend or repeat.

Fairly strong aroma is wheaty and yeasty with just a touch of lemon. It pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a fluffy and none too persistent white head. Flavor is wheaty with a hint of citrus, slightly yeasty, not all that inspiring. Flavor is smooth and fairly tingly, sometimes just a tad watery.

A: Pours a very light, wheaty yellow color with a thin layer of foam. It is hazy, but looks to be more on the watery side.

S: Smells heavily of wheat, bread and some rubber aroma. No citrus or spice detected.

T: Betty is not a complex girl, in fact she is quite simple, almost bland. Lots of wheat, some bread and malty sweetness... there is a very subtle amount of citrus in there somewhere; probably a good beer to throw a lemon in (blasphemy, I know).

M: Like the appearance led me to think, this beer is a bit on the watery side, though the particulates do lend it some substance. Carbonation is low, which makes it very smooth on the way down.

D: Although this beer is dangerously drinkable and rings in at 5.9% ABV, it just doesn't have much flavor. While this could definitely be downed easily, there are much cheaper beers out there for that purpose.

A – Pale banana yellow. Thin white head.

S – Yeast, hay, wheat. Just a hint of banana sweetness.

T – Tastes like a light hefeweisen. Banana, wheat, orange zest. Lime-like acidity on the backend. Touch of coriander.

M – Light body. Shade watery. Underwhelming carbonation.

12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass.

A-Poured a not-as-hazy-as-expected golden-straw brew. Head receded relatively quickly.

S-Wheaty and bready, minimal citrus.

T-Very similar to the aroma, strong on the wheat and bready malt flavors, with a slight semi-sweetness balanced by the wheatiness. Tastes a bit too dry feeling (this may make no sense at all...).

M-Flabby, thinnish body. Carbonation was a bit lower than expected.

D-Given the right place and time, this beer would hit the spot (though that can probably be said about just about any beer), especially on a hot summer Saturday afternoon. That said, for sitting down and enjoying a brew, this beer is of average quality and not my favorite of Boulder's lineup.

I was not too impressed with this beer.Extremely light yellow color and the smell had a hint of sourness to it.The taste is OK but there is a subtle metallic taste to it.It is drinkable but there are much better beers out there to try.I would only drink again if it was free.

Poured into a pint glass this brew is a hazy pale yellow color with a thin white head that left no lacing. The aroma of this brew is a little disappointing (I am a fan of the Boulder Brew, especially the anniversary brews). It is a little wet grassy smelling and has some banana and slight hop notes. The taste is a little bland with a higher carbonation than anticipated. The most dominant is banana with a light malt backbone and a little bitter hop finish. This is by far the least tasty of the brews I have had from them as of late. Good thing picked it up as a single.

A slightly hazy, yellow beer with a fizzy, white head that dissipated quickly. Wheat aroma with some citrus. Taste has the slight spice of a wheat beer but no complexity. Mouthfeel is prickly, a little harsh.

Overall acceptable, but there are better choices.

Hazy light golden color with a very thin and fizzy but lasting white head. No lacing to be found. The aroma is a little fruity along with mild hops. Light-bodied and bubbly with fruit and wheat flavors. Kind of a watery texture too. The finish is short and lemony. I am against any beer that makes reference to something secreted from the human body. Even without that this is a below average beer.

12 oz bottle dated 23 Dec. 2010 served in a pint glass on a hot day.

Straw color. A moderate pour produced only enough head to cover the top, and that quickly reduced to a thin small island and ring. The beer was only slightly hazy at first, but some sediment in the bottom of the bottle was added with visible effect. Visible carbonation ranging from fine to coarse.

S - a slightly pungent aroma mainly featuring wheat and yeast. Faintly floral and fruity. Not much, if any sign of hops.

T - not a big fan of wheat beers, on the whole, and this one has a unmistakable wheat element, yet I found the beer to be somewhat appealing and drinkable ... not a glowing endorsement, for sure, but about average for style. My main gripe is that is lacks hop presence, even in the faintly hoppy finish.

M - There's some crispness, a thin body, and a slightly dry finish.
