Appearance is quite nice. Smell is good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Also mouthfeel was average.
Although the beer met my approval in all other areas taste was really lacking. I can best liken the taste to another copper ale, but with chemicals or detergent into it. I've tried it on two different taps so I know it wasn't a tap that wasn't rinsed well enough after it was cleaned. All but one of my buddies who have tried it didn't care for it either. Altogether this is one of the beers I have enjoyed least.

A: The beer is crystal clear coppery orange in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly died down, leaving a collar consisting of thick bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of earthy yeast are present in the nose along with notes of of toasted malts.
T: The initial taste starts out with flavors of earthy yeast and mineral water; notes of toasted malts are present in the finish along with light amounts of bitterness. The maltiness becomes a little stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The earthiness of this beer makes it seem closer to an English Pale Ale compared to most of the American Pale Ales you are used to seeing. It's not a bad beer and an interesting change of pace.

16 ounce pint - $5.75 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Orange-copper brew, clear, with a just under an inch of not-quite-white foam.

Smell: Bready, biscuity malts, a little bit of citrus present, even lighter herb hints, and a low yeasty tone.

Taste: Biscuity, light pale malt. A little sugar cookie sweetness, falling short of a mild caramel taste. A light orange accent, minor spice/herb vibe. Medium-light bitterness. The finish is dry and fairly clean.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Not particularly malty, not really all that hoppy. While not bad, Singletrack is rather one-note.

Serving type: on-tap
