A: Clear copper color. Poured a 2 finger off white head that slowly dissipated to a skim. Decanted lightly. Laced in thin sheets.

S: Sweet, bready caramel malt and hay. Muted hop character. Overall very subdued nose.

T: Very consistent with the nose, just more prominent. Sharp bitter that exits quick and clean.

M: Light body. Moderate carbonation. Clean and crisp in the finish.

D: Easily drinkable. Not too complex, not filling and low ABV yet still has good flavor and balance.

Copper ale comes in just as claimed, copper. Thin 1/3" white head. Caramel aroma, but not a lot of hops, maybe some Cascade, but not dry hopped.

Taste was average run of the mill non descript beyond the cliche descriptor kind of thing, balanced, grain, 40 ibu stuff.

It is what it is.

Single track copper ale growler filled 7/2016 on Long Island, NY.

Chilled brew poured into a newcastle half pint glass. Paler than "copper", I'd say. This is a pleasant, very quaffable small beer with a longlasting hoppy bitterness over a thin malt background. Pretty good beer. I like the fact that this beer, unlike most modern ales, doesn't have much of that flowery aromatic hop character. However, I prefer a drink with a little more malt body.

Pours with a orange-ish gold, with just a slight hint of a haze. Two finger thick head of small bubbles, which quickly dissipate into nothingness. The smell is light, and the only note I detect is caramel.

Upfront, the dominant taste is of caramel, with a slight hop bitterness. The can describes this a medium bodied beer, and that seems just right. However, the taste fades after a few seconds, with a finish that feels like a light beer. I don't notice any rye spiciness.

I had high hopes for this beer, and was hoping for something like Sierra Nevada's rye ale. However, the body and taste of this beer do not deliver a memorable or unique experience. The first impression of this beer seems like an interesting 'medium bodied' beer, but the lack of finish or additional notes is a disappointment.

Look: Nice golden copper color. Little head. Some carbonation bubbles.

Smell: Little bit of biscuit, malt and bread but not much.

Taste: Light on taste little bit of malt and biscuit. No hop flavor.

Feel: Is over carbonated, but has a nice crispness.

Overall: Not too much flavor but overall it's drinkable.

Pours a light hazy orangey-copper with a light white head with decent retention. The aroma is barely there with just a little bit of biscuit. The taste is equally absent, with just faint notes of caramel malt sweetness. The body has a decent weight to it, smooth throughout.
