Served to standard pint glass the beer appears a dark amber color, clear, with a a thin 1/2 finger white head, some retention, some lacing. The nose is rather indescript, hints of toasted barley but really not much to report. The flavor starts thin though develops much better than the nose let on. A toasted caramel malt base from which a gentle earthy hop character builds. Mild bitterness. Finishes crisp and clean. Medium bodied and decently carbonated. Overall, not a spectacular brew, but not terrible. Not something I would go out of my way to pursue.

A: The beer is crystal clear coppery orange in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly died down, leaving a collar consisting of thick bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of earthy yeast are present in the nose along with notes of of toasted malts.
T: The initial taste starts out with flavors of earthy yeast and mineral water; notes of toasted malts are present in the finish along with light amounts of bitterness. The maltiness becomes a little stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The earthiness of this beer makes it seem closer to an English Pale Ale compared to most of the American Pale Ales you are used to seeing. It's not a bad beer and an interesting change of pace.

16 ounce pint - $5.75 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Orange-copper brew, clear, with a just under an inch of not-quite-white foam.

Smell: Bready, biscuity malts, a little bit of citrus present, even lighter herb hints, and a low yeasty tone.

Taste: Biscuity, light pale malt. A little sugar cookie sweetness, falling short of a mild caramel taste. A light orange accent, minor spice/herb vibe. Medium-light bitterness. The finish is dry and fairly clean.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Not particularly malty, not really all that hoppy. While not bad, Singletrack is rather one-note.
