This pours - did you guess copper color? Shiny copper, that is. Crystal clear too. My slow pour leaves little head.

Smell is faint with a bit of floral hops.

Taste is malty and hoppy, balanced out to a nice robust beer with character and flavor. Nothing unusual, nothing odd, nothing bad, and what is left is quite good.

Finish cleans the pallette with a bit of seltzery clean hop.

I recommend trying this beverage.

A: The beer is crystal clear coppery orange in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly died down, leaving a collar consisting of thick bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of earthy yeast are present in the nose along with notes of of toasted malts.
T: The initial taste starts out with flavors of earthy yeast and mineral water; notes of toasted malts are present in the finish along with light amounts of bitterness. The maltiness becomes a little stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The earthiness of this beer makes it seem closer to an English Pale Ale compared to most of the American Pale Ales you are used to seeing. It's not a bad beer and an interesting change of pace.

16 ounce pint - $5.75 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Orange-copper brew, clear, with a just under an inch of not-quite-white foam.

Smell: Bready, biscuity malts, a little bit of citrus present, even lighter herb hints, and a low yeasty tone.

Taste: Biscuity, light pale malt. A little sugar cookie sweetness, falling short of a mild caramel taste. A light orange accent, minor spice/herb vibe. Medium-light bitterness. The finish is dry and fairly clean.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Not particularly malty, not really all that hoppy. While not bad, Singletrack is rather one-note.

Serving type: on-tap
