A few months past the best by date.

Aroma is very floral, lightly citrusy, piney, and has a substantial caramel, nutty toasted malt backbone. Flavor reveals more floral hop character at the base, with a moderately bitter finish and a toasted malt backbone. Notes of grapefruit surface, but the perfumey, floral hops dominate. Malt presence contributes well to the profile. A little too floral, but a nice change of pace.

Pours a bright copper with a thin head. The smell has a bit of citrus and malt flavor in there. The taste is a spike of hop in the beginning with heavy flavors, almost like a banana bread flavor with the malt coming through for the finish giving this beer a sweeter profile than I was expecting. Not bad.

I'm a fan of this one, though admittedly I drink it a lot less than I used to these days. It's a solid APA, not overly hoppy and not too sweet either. Better than people give it credit for, to be sure.

Still on sale so I’m still buying them.

A&S: The brew is lively and almost transparent copper (go figure) in color. Head is white and frothy and leaves some lacing on the glass. No heavy bananas but like a banana bread of sorts. There is some citrus (orange) presence and not much sweetness.

T&M: Extrorianly average tasting beer, almost tastes like boston lager. Light malts, medium grade sweetness and bitterness. Non-bitter, non-dry bready finish. Feel is pretty good. It has a good profile not too full not too light. Carbonation is a high but not sharp and prickly.

Overall: Not a recommended beer, like I said it is a little below average. Probably will never have again even in a situation of low selection.
