Appearance: it's not an especially pretty color but it looks like beer should so that's just fine. Leaves great lacing alll the way down. Head retention is very good considering that its a dipa and 10% abv.
Smells: bitter with a nice musky and sweet malt. Surprisingly Maluku smell considering the very hoppy taste.
Taste: it's bitter upfront. Grapefruit rind and floral. Big malt flavor comes in to keep the hops in check. Dark fruit and caramel. This beer changes as it warms. It balances out a bit as the underlying flavors develop. You start to notice a bit of biscuity malt on the exhale and more of a cut grass hop comes in.
Mf: it's a bit bubbly and carbonated, but thats okay because its thick, oily, and somewhat syrupy.
Overall? I like it. And it's has an awesome name!

A - This beer is a beautiful translucent dark amber, with a fine, almost-white head. Very rich color!
S - I get a lot of plum, dark fruits, some grape... slight hints of chocolate or toffee. Not a strong smell, but pleasant.
T - Same as smell, but the hops are much more present. Aftertaste is fruity and hoppy, and sorta dark for a DIPA. Alcohol is masked pretty well as a 10% ABV, but there is a pretty noticeable warmth in the throat.
MF - Smooth and slightly on the heavy side. Medium hop oils on the palate. Carbonation is medium-light, just right for my liking.
Overall this DIPA is heavier and fruitier than others that I've had, it leans toward being a Belgian almost- with much more hops. It's unique for its style and much under-appreciated. Maybe this was a good batch or something. Usually I agree with BA reviews but I'm seeing much more in this beer than what I see here. It's quite enjoyable and I recommend picking it up!

A- The deep color is impressive. The clarity is interesting. It pours a bit sloppy with no real head. Bottle states best by 7/8/14.
S- Very weak aroma. I can smell the hops, but it doesn't hit me very hard. There is nothing particularly off putting, but it doesn't grab my attention either.
T- The taste has some citrus flavor. It doesn't sit and stay awhile. It passes very quickly with no impressive aftertaste. It's a refreshing beer for such a high alcohol content. It's smooth, not overpowering. Doesn't leave me wanting a second.
M-It holds a cream feel in my mouth. There is a spotty feeling, doesn't fill my taste buds. It hits one corner, then leaves quickly. Gives it a mysterious undertone.
O- I would enjoy this beer in late August on a porch in northern Wisconsin. I appreciate it for what it is/wants to be. It's very non-conformist, I'm going to do what I want- kinda beer. It's just being what it wants to be, not impressing, but not unreliable either. I would drink it again, just not one after another. It's really good at hiding the high alcohol content.
