A-Pours a nice opaque, golden (go figure) amber color, with hints of orange. It has a nice medium head, that dissolves slowly, leaving some nice lacing, and has some decent bubble action going on.
S- The aroma is not very strong, with hints of the pale malt, the tiniest of hop scent, and a splash of burnt woodiness.
T&M- From the smell, I expected this to be very woody and dry, but this was not the case. It was not overly dry, but rather had good balance in it, but nothing really makes it stand out.
This a light crisp and refreshing brew that is very easy to drink. I could see downing a twelver of these watching a Rockies or something.

this one is a bit of a bore for me, and truly one of the lightest beers ever, that can still be considered a craft product. it pours a clear bright yellow color, lots of bubbles, but not a ton of head. the nose features some lighter pilsener malts and a generic ale yeast. a little citrus in the flavor, but not much hop at all. it goes down super easy, and is a fine hot weather beer, but it can hardly hold my attention through a single bottle. the feel is also not quite right for a light beer like this. its simple enough, but id like even a little more carbonation, or at least better carbonation retention, and I need just a bit more meat on the bones in terms of body. personal preference though. my dad found this to be delightful on his visit to Colorado, and has encouraged my to bring him a case back east when I go. to me though, this just wasn't interesting enough, which has been true with several boulder beers lately.
