Bottle says Best if enjoyed by July 1, 2013:

Into a pint glass:

A: light golden yet clear yellow body with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipates leaving some slightly thick clingy lacing that spiderwebs a bit

S: mostly sweet maltiness goin' on, light corn in the background

T: sweet all the way through the malts, corn and adding a bit of breadiness, corn aftertaste, sweet finish

M: light, sessionable, carbonation is accurate for the style and is good for me

O: this is a good American Blonde Ale, most likely better with food with a decent refreshing aspect to it that is slightly appealing to this time of year

this one is a bit of a bore for me, and truly one of the lightest beers ever, that can still be considered a craft product. it pours a clear bright yellow color, lots of bubbles, but not a ton of head. the nose features some lighter pilsener malts and a generic ale yeast. a little citrus in the flavor, but not much hop at all. it goes down super easy, and is a fine hot weather beer, but it can hardly hold my attention through a single bottle. the feel is also not quite right for a light beer like this. its simple enough, but id like even a little more carbonation, or at least better carbonation retention, and I need just a bit more meat on the bones in terms of body. personal preference though. my dad found this to be delightful on his visit to Colorado, and has encouraged my to bring him a case back east when I go. to me though, this just wasn't interesting enough, which has been true with several boulder beers lately.

This beer was gold in color. It had a good-sized white head with a bit of lace.

Kind of an average beer. Toasty, grassy aroma, not that exciting.

Same with the taste. White toast, mild hops.

Pleasant enough, inoffensive. Good for quenching a thirst.
