A: pours a dark and cloudy copper with a one-finger head. There is some lacing on the glass.
S: Aromatic piny hops are the first thing I noticed; it seems hoppy for a Pale, but there are definitely sweet malt aromas coming through, albeit overpowered by the lovely smelling hops
T: The malt sweetness comes through more here- the resiny hops are balanced out by some slightly biscuity notes that leave a clean malt flavor behind. There is also some grassy hop notes that became a little more apparent as I continue to sip the brew. Not a bad little pale here, although it is simple and doesn't show a whole lot of complexity.
M: Medium to light bodied with a clean, crisp finish that leaves behind a bit of hop bitterness and some malt sweetness
D: The hop notes are clean and refreshing while the malt character restrains the bitterness for non hop-heads. Personally I don't think this is as good as this brewery's Mojo IPA, but it is way lower in ABV and more balanced so it might make for a more sessionable beer. Solid example of the style with little to complain about.

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter
A - It is a deep amber color bordering on copper. It is topped with two inches of beige head.
S - I smell some light fruity and floral hops. There is a caramel malt backbone with a dank smell of a red ale.
T - The taste is a nice balance between malt and hops. The hop taste is similar to the smell, light fruit and floral. The malt has some deep grain flavors. It is earthy.
M - Medium
O - It's been a long time since I have had this beer. It is a decent pale ale. It is not something I would drink regularly. It does not stand out as some others do. I would almost call it am amber ale based on appearance.
