Pours a clear copper color into pint glass with one finger head that disappates quickly. Little to no lacing. Aroma is pine hops with some carmel malts and citrus hops. Taste is primarily pine hops with enough malt backbone to keep the bitters down. Finish is not as dry as I would expect with this amount of hops. Mouthfeel is relatively light which is nice for an APA. Good APA but nothing spectacular.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a Shaker pint glass, "enjoy by" date "MAR 30 2018".

APPEARANCE: pours a hazy, copper color with one-finger tan head that slowly dissipated until a thin, unbroken layer of small bubbles remained, there is significant lacing on the glass, medium carbonation.

SMELL: caramel and toasted bread, faint to the nose.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet caramel then toasted bread and finishes with a slightly metallic hop profile.

PALATE: medium body and carbonation.

OVERALL: this is a malt forward beer and I'm not a fan of toasted malt so this beer is not for me, it's not a bad beer or poorly made just not my thing.

L: Light Amber orange color, looks almost like iced tea. A medium head and some nice lacing on the glass.

S: Lots of toasted bread, some pine and floral hops. Not an overly strong aroma. For a hoppy session, I expect more hop.

T: Toasted brown bread, with notes of pine and some spicy floral hops, and a light bitterness. A little oniony flavor. Some black tea flavor. The taste is stronger than the aroma.

F: Light body mouthfeel is slick.

O: For a hoppy session beer this is a little malty but still drinkable.
