Poured into a pint glass.
A-Orange/amber beer, clear, with streaming carbonation. Rich and chewy foam froth is a gift that keeps on giving (from the bomber) as the 2+" head settles down to 1/2" for the duration, with excellent ropes of sticky lacing all the way down the glass. Impressive.
S-Fantastic: eau de dry-hop cologne, heavy on the citrus.
T-Very delicious. Citric hops hit and re-hit that one most excellent note, with a freshness that is, uh, refreshing! Nice bitterness. I like the fact that this is heavy on the hops, lighter on the malts, and the crystal hop burps? WICKED!
M-Light/medium. Good carbonation.
D-Extremely sessionable stuff, IMHO.
CRUX: EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE DRY-HOPPED APA HERE. A beer I'd like to say hello to again and again, but alas, it ain't available near me. Yet. I could drink this anytime con mucho gusto, and the DBF yearns to hold this beer in it's embrace in some quantity. Good stuff.

Enjoy By March 18, 2014. Another aged single purchased recently (two days ago) at a local liquor store. Check your freshness dates people!
a: Hazed amber with a huge inch and a half offwhite head which receded slowly to heavy surface foam and dense lacing.
s: Very mild fruit.
t: Caramel and bread malt up front followed by a light to moderate hop bite.
m: Medium, very good body, quite a bit of carbonation tingle.
o; A solid pale ale, probably not as well-flavored as when fresh, but still very drinkable and pleasant.

08/22/13 On tap. Pale ales are always full of surprises for me. Often they get overly hoppy, but that is not the case here. Not only is this an example of a well balanced brew it has a remarkably lingering aftertaste. I know this sounds weird but if you like a lot of hops, this may not be for you and if you hate hops, this is may not be happy spot either, but if you can appreciate a well crafted balance, somewhere between hop heaven and hell, put you money down on the D&I. IMO you'll get a better understanding of where I think the place hops have in this whole process.
