Poured in to a pint glass. Clear, copper colored body. 1.5 finger, white, rocky head. Great lacing.

Smell was fairly malty and sweet. Some strong floral aromas. Good citrusy notes as well.

Taste was as of a nice, american styled pale ale. Lightly hoppy with some good floral notes in the middle. Finishes with some more floral and fruity hops. Nice maltiness backed with a lightly bready and caramelly note. Light resiny hop finish as well.

Mouthfeel was medium-light body and medium carbonation. Crish finish.

Overall it was nice. Could drink alot of these and the palate wouldnt feel overpowered.

Poured from can into a pint glass

Appearance – The beer pours a nice golden amber color with a big foamy head of a white color. The head has a great level of retention, very slowly fading to leave a great level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a bready and grainy smell mixed with some nice aromas of a more fruity nature. The fruit is a nice mix of citrus and tropical fruit smell with an orange mingling with some mango and papaya. Along with these aromas are some smells of a grassy and grapefruit hop as well as a bit of an earthy and hay-like aroma overall producing a rather inviting aroma.

Taste – The taste begins with a bready and slightly grassy flavor mixed with some lighter sweetness of a light fruit nature. The light fruit, which consists of an orange, apple and pear flavor, is very mild, with it growing even more so as the flavor advances to the end of the taste. While the sweeter flavors dwindle, so too does the bready flavors, with them being replaced by a more cracker like taste. Toward the end of the flavor profile, the grassy flavor gets slightly stronger in nature with it being joined by a light hay-like and earthy hop flavor, which in the end, leave a rather crisp and clean taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average side as well. The blend of body and carbonation are fantastic for the malty and moderately hoped flavors of the brew all while still maintaining an easy drinking and crisp feel for the brew. Great for the style.

Overall – This was a very easy drinking and rather tasty APA. I rather enjoyed this one and will certainly go back to it.
