Malt and grassy hop on the nose. Pours brilliant amber, 2” foam dissipates to ½”, very rocky. Grainy malt with some caramel, slight astringency from the hops on the finish. Medium body and carbonation, sessionable with the balance leaning slightly to the hops.

I did not enjoy this Pale Ale. Felt it left a bad taste in my mouth and one of the few beers I have dumped.

Appearance: Clear light amber, white head, good lacing.

Aroma: Medium-light mix of pine/grass/citrus hop with a touch of malt sweetness.

Flavor: Fairly astringent bitterness of pine and grass. Again, just a touch of residual, caramel sweetness.

Mouthfeel: Thin.

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but nothing too memorable for the style.

Serving type: can.

This beer had great presentation. Poured a great honey color with a good amount of head. Picturesque in a clear pint glass. Upon drinking, for me, this was a "just ok" offering. It had most of the characteristics you'd expect from APA but it was not transcendent in any category. Body: Good. Balance: Good. Some citrus notes from the hops, very sessionable. I think this would be a great pick if I planned to sit and drink a slew of them in one sitting but on a "one beer" night it's marginal.
