A - Pours very little head, it doesn't build well, but still manages a 1 1/2 finger pour... Almost white head with very little residual. Brew is a clear amber with orange hues. Good carbonation coming up the sides.
S - Ginger, raisin, vanilla, fig (?), honey all come up with the delightful scent. very nice!
T - Tastes like iced tea... WOW! It's a great winter brew, but could be an even more awesome summer brew...Very ginger and cinnamon... Nice. But very underwhelming. average.
M - Light and airy. dry and bitter. over carbonated.
D - The taste kinda ruined my review. I would enjoy this brew out in the sun, but not so much sitting inside a house. Scent is killer, but brew is average.
One of my favorite brew fresh... But, in all fairness this brew is 9 months old (past it's prime), so it's hard to judge. I wanted to share with other what an aged one is like!

Mix of amber and red colors, edges hard to brown but can't get there, solid inch of head, impressive. Aroma was more red than brown malts, hence not as much of a warmer, more of a red ale.
Taste hits bitter, covers half the malt bill, minor sweetness derived of caramel type malt impressions. Its not a bad beer to get as a random in your mix pack.

I am drinking this the same month as its best by date. It has an earthy spicy hop nose, and some cardamom to cola. It pours brilliant burn amber to garnet under an off-white foam cap. The palate starts creamy and malty and then there a little tanginess arises followed by some smooth malt flavors that fade as it dries out in the finish and lingers with a mingling of malty and bitter after tastes with just a touch of pepper. A hint of heat, very faint roast, medium body and medium to a shade less on the carbonation.

A - Amber/cherry wood color, a healthy off-white head settles to a single ring with micro bubbles covering the surface; decent legs
S - Weak sweet malt, caramel, apple cider
T - Seems a good blend, but nothing dominant stands out to me; some caramel, some earthy, leafy hop flavors; finishes with a hint of bitter that gives way to a medium hop flavor;
F - Medium body, light carbonation releaase
O - This was a pretty simple non-complex beer with subtle aromas and non-dominant flavors; it really didn't seem the winter warmer, but more of a weak AIPA; easy drinkong
