Enjoyed at Boulder Beer Tap House at the DIA Airport
Poured a dark brown with 1 finger of tan head, OK retention left nice latticework of lacing. Smells of chocolate malt, coffee, roasted malts, nuts, and caramel. Tastes of roasted malt, caramel, nuts, chocolate, and coffee with a slightly grassy finish. Medium in body with pleasant carbonation. Smooth with a mellow bitterness, very easy to drink, quite sessionable especially during the winter months.

Boulder Beer Planet Porter has a medium, creamy, beige head, a very dark, almost black, brown appearance, and a good amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is of dark-roasted barley malt, charcoal, sweetness, and black cherry. Taste is of those elements, with the noticeable char, yet little bitterness is detected. Mouthfeel is medium and slick, and Planet Porter finishes semi-dry, rich, sweet, and good.
