Pours a murky copper color that shines orange when held to the light. Tight tan head is slow to settle, kicks back up with a few swirls, and leaves behind some sticky lace.
Very aromatic with some a powerful hop aroma. Loads of pine mixed with citrus and floral notes. Faint toasted malt lies beneath.
The flavor of this beer is just an unbelievable balance of in-your-face hops and sturdy Scottish malt goodness. Between the aroma and first taste of hop, you think this is a rip out your tongue hop-bomb. The pine and citrus flavors blend seamlessly with the biscuity caramel malt. Notes of toffee and grapefruit get along perfectly. So smooth, so delicious. Finishes up with a spicy hop bite and lingering bitterness.
Medium bodied, smooth and spicy on the tongue. Awesome drinkability cause by a truly unreal balance of malt and hop. Damn tasty and complex without being too big. Just a magnificent beer.
