1 pint Can brought from Minneapolis by rudge75 and kindly passed along to me. Don't worry about Kris there Dave, he's got his own can at home!!
Held up to the light this beer reveals a deep filtered coppery red hue that is most appealing to the eye. Vigorous pour gets me 1 and 1/2 inches of head that leaves a very nice lace. Medium-high carbonation keeps about 1.4 inch of head alive and releases all kinds of amazing aroma. Holy crap I could seriously sit here and smell this all night. Tropical fruit right off the bat, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, papaya. Very fruity nose. Malt sweetness in the back, but it's very subdued and completely dominated by the hop bouquet, but I'm certainly not complaining.
Taste is a balancing act that many strive for but few achieve. Hops are acidic, citric, floral, a little vinous and herbal as well. It seriously makes me glad that I don't have any cuts in my mouth, or else my whole mouth would be stinging instead of just buzzing. Malt is crucial in providing the balance, but it's not a major part of the flavour profile giving a light caramel sweetness and heathery softness. All that said, this is balls-out in presentation and flavour and it very hard not to like. It's a hop bomb that you can still enjoy for a lot of other reasons besides the bitterness. I found the carbonation a little high but that's a minor quibble. Extremely drying in all that bitterness and the hop oils coat your esophagus so you can enjoy hops all frickin' night until tomorrow morning. Drinkability is high as long as you have a glass of water between pints to whet your dried out puckered whistle. Furious might even be like IPA Crystal Meth. Oh where can I get another fix?

A - Transparent reddish orange-copper, with a hint of gold, and a off-white head that pours short and fades quick, but laces expansively.
S - Pow! Punches the nose with a big hit of pine and grapefruit citrus hop elements, with slight sweet honey and floral notes.
T - Follows the nose, but with a strong malty component that mellows out the bitter thread in the close.
M - Hop resin coats, but decent carbonation scrubs some of it off. But there is a moderate build.
O - Solid hop bomb, with some nice malt to offer a counterpoint. We don't get balance - the bitterness is present and builds - but the fruit and pine work very well and the beer is delicious.
