Canned 12/17/12 poured into a snifter.

Appearance: Caramel/amber hue. Light tan foam head. A little lacing around the glass.

Smell: Floral hops, caramel malt and a little citrus

Taste: Very well balanced mix of the caramel malt, citrus and floral hops tastes.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied a little sticky in the mouthfeel. Nicely carbonated.

Overall: This is a very solid and highly drinkable AIPA. I definitely could drink a lot of these if they were more readily available in my area.

Thanks to buzze40 for a couple cans of this! Canned November 11, 2012, into a tulip.

Deep amber red, off white head with good retention and some lace. Nose has a ton of citrus, grapefruit and orange is prominent. Some piney as well, malt is sweet and noticeable but the hops are juicy and dominant. Taste has great hop character, some tropical fruits, grassy and herbal hops before some sweet malt provides a bit of support. Long bitter finish, some oily character on the palate, alcohol is minimal. An excellent flagship IPA.
