---from can to stemmed tulip glass---
Dark brown and leather red where light is allowed through, huge head that shrinks down to a thin cap with little lacing.
Like the can says, this smells like iced coffee! I’m having a hard time smelling anything else.
Coffee. Little nuttiness from the brown ale, very faint sweetness. Some earthy hops help offset the coffee bitter.
Medium body, medium carbonation, literally tastes like cold-carbonated coffee. Incredibly smooth – probably from the oats.
I really dig this beer. Obviously coffee forward… doesn’t leave much for the standard beer drinker. I’m not a brown ale kind o’ guy… but this Brown Oatmeal Coffee Ale is tops… also best coffee forward beer I’ve had. I absolutely MUST have another.
Serving type: can
