Appearance: Pours oily, dark, and menacing with a fat cocoa colored head which fades into a thin cap. Looks awesome.
Aroma: Boozy, hoppy, sweet, mildly roasty. Alcoholic esters. Dark fruit and baker's chocolate. Not tremendously appealing to be honest.
Taste: Dark dried fruit, alcohol, faint roast. Sweet and hoppy, significant but not overpowering bitterness. Smoothness mid palate. Dark chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Nice and rich without being heavy. Good amount of medium but not prickly carbonation.
Drinkability: My 1/3 of a bottle is a good amount. Not
loving it, but not difficult to drink by any means.
Serving type: bottle
