First of all, I must say that this review is from an IPA fan who is rating it based on what I like - not by style. To describe a beer which is dry-hopped with American hops as an "English Bitter" does not seem fair.
When poured from a can into a pint glass, I was rewarded with a cloudy orange liquid and decent off white head. The smell was a citrus blast from the dry hopping. The head receded with time, but never went away.
The weakness of this beer is the mouthfeel and arguably balance. The resulting beer is all hops and in order to keep the ABV down, the malt backbone isn't quite there. That said, this is no thin beer. There is lacing left on the glass, and the resulting beer is still quite enjoyable, especially on a warm day, or when you want a session beer.
