Poured from a tallboy can into a pint glass

A- pours a cloudy shade of orange with a two finger white head. The head is very puffy, and there are a lot of bubbles up the glass. Looks find

S- awesome citrus hop aroma, much more aggressive than I expected from a tiny, 4% bitter. Insane!

T- as expected with the age of this (5 months, refrigerated for the last month), the hops are faded. But I can tell there's a nice citrus backbone, along with a nice biscuity sweetness to it. Lovely

M- body is overall pretty thin, nothing to see here

O- awesome sessionable beer. I can't wait to order a bunch of this when it drops fresh next year!

A nice pour into my nonic. Very good head retention with a very nice lace.
What there is of the aroma is mild citrus.
Very pronounced orange zest flavor up front and holds throughout. Dry and bitter. Stinging carbonation on the aftertaste.
A good representation of the style.
Very enjoyable. Another fine beer from Surly.

A – Nice bright amber body. Off-white head has a fine bubble structure with ok retention and lace.

S – Dry, soft orange and thyme with an undertow of sweet malt.

T – Light and brisk up front with fresh herbal hops. Dry center has a light, resiny sweetness and a crisp acidity. The brightness fades through the finish into a soft residual bitterness.

M – Light body.

O – A great session brew.

Thanks Ryan! Pours a hazy copper orange with a loose head. Nose is surprisingly big piney hops, caramel malt. Mouth is quite dry with a pretty long finish of pine, citrus rind, some caramel malt. Very dry and short, which is nice. Flavor hold true to the style while the nose is a bit brash, "arrogant" as some could say. Carbonation is high. A very dry mineral, wet pavement kind of flavor starts to creep ion, which doesn't really mesh.

Truth be told this isn't a favorite style of mine and while the nose isn't true to the style it's more enticing to me than the dry, bitter mouth.

Poured from a 16oz can to a Cigar City Snifter.

Color: Hazy orange with an off white head.

Smell: Hops, malts and citrus (orange).

Taste: Hops, citrus (orange) and malts.

Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, very smooth with a slight dry finish.

Overall: Very clean and crisp. The citrus came thru in the taste more than the smell. Which I loved. The mouthfeel is fantastic with this brew. Cheers!
