Received in trade from a fellow IN BA.
Poured from 16oz can into imperial pint glass.
A: Pine sap with a bit of citrus tartness, pine resin, and sticky, carmelly malt.
A: Excellent clear copper body with some fine floaties. Off-white, thick, sudsy, persistent foam leaves sticky lacing.
F: Immediate carmel sweetness, sappy pine, and a grapefruit like strong bitterness. Bitterness is very strong for the style, but enjoyable if that's your thing.
M: Medium body and carbonation. Hops contribute a slickness, and dry tannins cling to the tongue long through the finish.
O: A delicious, hop-forward wet-hopped IPA. I personally tend to prefer the aroma and flavor of dry-hopped IPAs, but this one was good for a change. I recommend trying a fresh can!
Serving type: can
