Pours golden in color with very light amber hues. Good frothy, two finger white head that retains nicely.
Smell is good. Lots of fresh piney herbal hop aromas forward that smells super crisp and nicely balanced. Malt smells grainy bready and sweet.
Taste is good and follows the nose. Sweet bready grainy malt is not overshadowed by the forward piney hops. Hop flavor is intensely crisp and moderately bitter. Sweet malt adds a nice balance that I feel is lacking with most bitter bomb west coast ipas
Mouthfeel is good lots of crisp hoppy bitterness forward with a really nice sweet dry finish. Hop resin and oil persist well rafter swallows and somewhat coat the mouth.
Overall this is a great west coast ipa, Im just not a huge fan of the high bitterness of the style.
