A - Straw-yellow on peripheries, mandarin orange in the thicker parts. Thick white head.
S - Hoppy and resinous, tropical fruity. Tasty.
T - Biscuity, hoppy, fruity and citrus flavors come through for the most part. Could use more malt. Alcohol taste comes through unhindered.
M - A bit thin, but it is an IPA, rather than DIPA. Some acidity, slightly sticky, very clean feeling.
O - About what I'd expect from Surly. Great IPA, and ranks highly in my book, but there are better.
Serving type: can
