Had this on 2013-07-19 in Minneapolis, MN at the brewery.
A - Celar gold with a 1/2-finger white head and light lacing.
S - Very aromatic. Some malt, pineapple, cherry, spice and pepper.
T - Sharp hop bud flavor and citrus-zesty bitterness. Cherry, light malt, lightly funky. Alcohol is well hidden.
M - Crisp and very dry from the Brett.
O - Reminds me of a mix between a DIPA and a saison but mediated to the dry/funky side with the brett. Very enjoyable. Glad I was in town while this was on-tap. As a bonus, I was able to get here in-time for the brewery tour given by Omar and this is the brew I walked around with during the tour. Good fun.

On tap at Surly's taproom. 10 oz. serving in a Surly Darkness chalice.
Appearance: Color is a clear golden orange. Moderate amount of bubbles. Solid two fingers of white head with decent retention. Leaves a lot of lacing clinging around the glass.
Smell: A very hop forward aroma with fruit esters and some funky Brett hints. Big scent of ripe hops upfront with hints of citrus grapefruit, orange peel, mango, apricot, pineapple, and tangerine. Big presence of dank pine resin. Earthy hop hints of grass as well. Brett funk comes through with some subtle sour hints of cherry and spice. Pale malt background with some hints of biscuit, grains, and yeast. Very forward with the hops. Pretty good aroma.
Taste: Like the aroma hints at, a big taste of bitter hops with lots of citrus, pine, and Brett funk. Lots of ripe and bitter hops upfront with citrus fruit notes of orange, grapefruit, apricot, mango, pineapple, and tangerine. Big herbal hop taste of dank pine resin and earthy notes of grass. The Brett is kind of subtle but noticeable with notes of funk and sour cherry. Decent backing of bready pale malt with notes of biscuit, yeast, and grains. Very hop forward and oily. Pretty good taste.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and pretty bitter. Finishes very dry. Alcohol heat is hidden well.
Overall: A very good twist on a Imperial IPA. The hops stand out the most with a big taste of citrus fruit and pine while the Brett adds an interesting kick.
