500ml bottle from the 401 & Weston LCBO in Toronto, ON. Part of the 2012 Spring Beer Release.
Pours a hazy, unfiltered yellow with amber edges, one finger of billowy white foam, and sheets of lacing on the pint glass. The chunky sediment detracts from an otherwise attractive appearance.
Smell is lemon zest, mango, white grapefruit, herbal, grassy, and floral hops, mild earthiness, honey-drizzled wheat crackers, slight sulphur, and lime.
Taste is big lemony, grapefruity, and soapy hop flavours balanced by biscuity malts, a honey sweetness, white cracker, and a substantial Noble-like bitterness to end.
Mouthfeel is smooth and medium-bodied, soft carbonation, spicy and biting bitterness lingers into the long, bone dry finish. Refreshing.
Overall, Thornbridge Jaipur is an exemplary English IPA with more intensity than traditional examples of the style. This flavourful, hoppy thirst-quencher is one of the best UK beers that I've sampled. A very impressive brew.

Color- hazy sunshine. Full head.
Aroma- floral, hints of pineapple, and hint of bread.
Taste- a gentle, sublime English IPA. Starts with a hoppiness that balances between mild citrus and floral, then transitions to an effervescent farmhouse ale with notes of earthiness, and finishes with mild lemon-like hops. Has some similarities to a Belgian IPA but with more balanced hoppiness.
Poured from 500 ml bottle into a Liefmans Goudenband glass (my preferred all purpose beer tasting glass). Tasted July 2014. Purchased at Whole Foods in Austin.

This beer was a pleasant surprise. I am used to drinking super-hoppy and bitter beers. However, this beer had a nice bit of hops but it was very smooth and very easy to drink. On top of the hops, I also got subtle notes of citrus, pine, and grass. Would definitely want to drink again.
