On tap at the Winking Lizard. Served in a pint glass for about $7.
The beer looks nice in the glass. It's a mostly translucent orange color with copper highlights and a touch of gold around the edges, slightly hazed with alluring depths. A beautiful white head leaves great lace.
The smell is OK. I'm not a fan of traditional English IPA's compared to American ones, but I can throw out my preference enough to say this has a good hop bill, full of citrus and flowery notes, atop a solid malt base.
The taste is also good, but nothing great. Some grassy hops have touches of citrus and flowers and the malt base has caramel notes with a touch of breadiness. Some spice and biscuit are noted, along with grapefruit and lemon notes and a touch of honey. The fruitiness emerges and the tart touches subside, resulting in lingering bitterness.
The mouthfeel is acceptable. The beer is a bit chewy and grainy in my mouth, but the medium body is bolstered by a decent carbonation. The overall score is between average and good. If you love English IPA's, this is your beer. Not my thing, but a good example of the style overall.

Color- hazy sunshine. Full head.
Aroma- floral, hints of pineapple, and hint of bread.
Taste- a gentle, sublime English IPA. Starts with a hoppiness that balances between mild citrus and floral, then transitions to an effervescent farmhouse ale with notes of earthiness, and finishes with mild lemon-like hops. Has some similarities to a Belgian IPA but with more balanced hoppiness.
Poured from 500 ml bottle into a Liefmans Goudenband glass (my preferred all purpose beer tasting glass). Tasted July 2014. Purchased at Whole Foods in Austin.

This beer was a pleasant surprise. I am used to drinking super-hoppy and bitter beers. However, this beer had a nice bit of hops but it was very smooth and very easy to drink. On top of the hops, I also got subtle notes of citrus, pine, and grass. Would definitely want to drink again.
